Young,
marvelous, charming, talented lady from Thane in passion and

AapaleThane.com. She is Sameera Gujar- famous drama and
TV Artist. She interviewed by Girish Kalsulkar.
Where you born?
I have born in Roha (Raigad).
Then
how you came to Thane?
When I was of 1 ½ year my father planned to settle
in Mumbai but looking at climate, culture and availability
of necessary things he decided to shift in Thane city and
thus I came to Thane. But you can say I spend my entire childhood
in Thane only. And I love to stay in Thane.
Tell
us about your education
I had completed SSC from Maharashtra Vidyalaya, Thane with
89%. Then I joined Ruia Collage for Arts because it was famous
for arts as such for acting and everything. I stood 10th in
HSC merit list. I love studying languages. Now I am studying
in S.Y.B.A.
As
you are studying and simultaneously acting in serials what
are your aims in life?
I love writing. In future I would like to do some social activities
also. I want to do all of my thoughts keeping in mind my social
and family responsibilities.
Tell
us about your acting career.
I am in this line when I was in school. When I was small one
of my father's friend, he was a photographer used to snap
my photos in my birthday celebration. He suggested my father
to build my career as a model. In my school I done many Balnatya
camps, dramas in school for Little Theatre (Organiser: Sudha
Karmarkar). I had done some advertisement for Surf, Mera Bharat
Mahan and such on TV.
Tell
us something about your happened and forthcoming projects.
My first professional drama/play is Aajacha Diwas Gamaticha.
I got first prize in State level Drama Competition for Bhalekaranchi
Kanya Chiranjivi. I have done campaigning for Rangiberangi
and acted in Gammat Jammat, Kilbil and Aabhalmaya - a major
hit TV serial.
About my forthcoming projects, currently I am doing Mrunmayi
(Serial on Alpha TV Marathi), Zep (E TV Marathi), Papanyanchya
Pailtiri (Marathi Movie), Swaranjali (Antakshari on local
cable channel in Thane).
What
are your hobbies?
I like to write poems, dance, reading books, literatures.
What
is your opinion about Thane?
Quite long time back Thane was like a village for the people
staying outside Thane. But the scene is changed. Now Thaneits
have their own identity. Thane is growing as Cultural Capital
of Maharashtra. I am proud to be a Thaneite.
How
you celebrate Diwali?
I like to celebrate Diwali with my family. This Diwali I am
celebrating with the edged people coming in Nana Nani Park.
